Environmental Policy

Solifix is a soil and groundwater remediation contractor committed to minimising the impact of its activities on the environment.

In particular, Soilfix will:
• Work with clients and suppliers to continuously improve and optimise our environmental practices.
• Comply with all applicable environmental legislative requirements.
• Strive to reduce the environmental impact of remediation activities by utilising the most sustainable technology possible within the project constraints of time, budget and remedial targets.
• Encourage staff to reduce the impact of travelling by avoiding unnecessary journeys, vehicle sharing, utilising public transport and cycling.
• Prevent pollution arising from our activities by assessing the environmental risks, implementing suitable mitigation measures and ensuring staff are properly trained and have the appropriate emergency equipment.
• Practice conservation of natural resources through the recycling of waste materials and purchase of recycled or recyclable materials, or those from renewable resources.
• Reduce the use of energy through energy conservation and improved energy efficiency, wherever possible.


Soilfix has implemented a Business Management System to which this document remains a part of and which satisfies the requirements of the BS EN ISO 14001 2015.
Our environmental policy will be reviewed annually to monitor its effectiveness and to ensure that it reflects changing needs and circumstances.
All Soilfix staff and subcontractors will be encouraged to adopt working practices in accordance with this policy.
